Would you still save the world with me if I were a worm?
A downloadable game for Linux
We are not even halfway into 2025 and — oh boy – what a year it has been! Among the most noteworthy things:
- There’s a 4MB Jam 2025.
Welcome to this year’s edition of taking the theme a tad too literal :P
Thanks to the three-sided dice of Doigt, this year’s theme ended up being “Worms, Holes and Wormholes”. Hence my game is about — you are not going to believe this! — Worms, Holes and Wormholes. But don’t fear, I won’t beat around the bush.
So, the bad news is: This is a puzzle game.
The good news, however, is that should you have accidentally thrown away your keyboard, you do not have to worry. This piece of art can be played entirely with your mouse. (Oh, wait… Did I say “can be”? That should have been an “is”.)
Still curious what’s going on?
Well, help your wormy partner find the exit of each of the 20 puzzles to eventually save the
world that has fallen into a wormhole. Place a marker and watch your partner walk worm into its
direction. Almost feels like a construction site — one person does all the work, everyone else is just
watching.
By the way, do you like turtles? Those are cute animals, aren’t they? Well, here come 40 kilobytes of reasons to turn to the dark side and hate them. How so? — How about downloading the game and finding out yourself?
Roses are red,
violets are blue.
Did you really read through all of this?
Poor you!

Install instructions
Use Linux Mint 22 Wilma on AMD64.
If your machine is not a vanilla install, make sure to install the following dependencies:
- fonts-noto-color-emoji
- fonts-ubuntu
- libmpv2
- libpangocairo-1.0-0
- libsdl2-2.0-0
- thunderbird
If your OS is a different one and audio playback seems broken, there’s a chance that your copy of libmpv might be too new. v0.38
broke a bunch of things.
